Managing products
Products are managed through the Products tab if you have this feature enabled.
To group products into collections or categories on your website, you simply assign a product with one or more tags (see tags in the Glossary).
To then display your products on one or more pages on the site, you would simply enter the same tag(s) into the page. This will make the page show all products with the same tag.
It's important that you also include the tag "products" on any pages you wish to display items from the products database.
An example:
- You have set of earrings. These might be tagged with "earrings jewellery"
- You create a page on your site in the "Shop" section titled "Jewellery". You would tag the "Jewellery" page with "products jewellery"—you don't need to tag it with earrings unless you specifically want to show only earrings.
- You could create another page in the "Shop" section titled "Earrings" and tag it with "products earrings" and this would show all your earrings.
To get changes made to a product or products, you will need to edit and save the article on which it is display after making a change to the product. We are working on making this easier in the future.
