Inserting images into the content

The functionality for placing images within the content of a page is not yet finalised and we are working on this to make it more intuitive and easier to do.

In the meantime, you can follow these steps:

  1. Login to the CMS
  2. Upload the image(s) you would like to work with
  3. Create a new article or edit the article you wish to insert the image into
  4. You will see your recent images in the right-hand column under the Latest tab. If you don't see it, you can search for it or you might have it in your Bucket.
  5. You can drag the image into the main content area or you can right-click on the image and choose Copy Image Location (or something similar depending on your browser).
  6. Now this is where it gets somewhat fiddly.
  7. You will now need to click on the image in the content area.
  8. Click the insert/edit image button in the toolbar
  9. A window will popup where you can edit the image's URL and other details
  10. You need to remove "_tiny" from the URL (just before the extension, e.g., .jpg, .gif)
  11. Click Update
  12. Click Save Article
