Inserting images into the content
The functionality for placing images within the content of a page is not yet finalised and we are working on this to make it more intuitive and easier to do.
In the meantime, you can follow these steps:
- Login to the CMS
- Upload the image(s) you would like to work with
- Create a new article or edit the article you wish to insert the image into
- You will see your recent images in the right-hand column under the Latest tab. If you don't see it, you can search for it or you might have it in your Bucket.
- You can drag the image into the main content area or you can right-click on the image and choose Copy Image Location (or something similar depending on your browser).
- Now this is where it gets somewhat fiddly.
- You will now need to click on the image in the content area.
- Click the insert/edit image button in the toolbar
- A window will popup where you can edit the image's URL and other details
- You need to remove "_tiny" from the URL (just before the extension, e.g., .jpg, .gif)
- Click Update
- Click Save Article
