Subscribers not appearing after shopify chekcout

Hi there,

I'm working for the rushberry store. They've asked me to investigate why after completing an order, and selecting the checkbox to recieve marketing updates, the email address is not appearing in the list of subscribers in the campaign monitor.

Any help or pointers where to RTFM would help thanks.

    Hi Colin,

    If you give me the xxx.myshopify.com URL for the store I will have a look and see if I can figure out what is going on.

    Hi Colin,

    I think the emails are not going through to the CM list because this is not a live store yet. Everything else looks good and it should work as soon as the store goes live. A few questions:

    1. Was this originally a test shop?
    2. What Shopify plan are you currently on?

    What do you mean by the store is not live. How/where do I see in shopify if the store is live?

    I just jumped on this project so I'm not sure the history of the store. I'm just working for the store owner.

    Hi Colin,

    When the order info was sent to us it was marked by Shopify as a test order. They do this by setting a header 'X-Shopify-Test' when they send the webhook request through to our app. This header is usually set when the order comes from a test shop set up for development, which is why I thought your shop wasn't live yet.

    I suggest you check in with Shopify support and ask them why you are being flagged as a test store: http://support.shopify.com/
