I too could really use a way to track what product(s) people bought. This would take this from being a basic plugin to a great 'drip marketing' tool. Please!

    Hi Will,

Could you tell us a bit more about how you would use this Shopify product information in Campaign Monitor?

We are thinking about adding a link to the Shopify admin products page such as: "Email all customers who have ordered this product". This would create a list in Campaign Monitor and could work in a similar way with collections of products. Would this be useful to you or would you need more data for 'drip marketing'?

    Cheers,
    Isaac

If the purchased product info was sent along with a user's name/address to Campaign Monitor, we'd be able to target further messages to them based on what they purchased.

So if I knew that Bob Smith ordered 3 boxes of dog food, I could put him in the 'dog owner' category and send him messages in the future about dog food and other dog-related products.

    Hi Will,

Yes it would be possible to send across some product info to Campaign Monitor.

They way this would work is that you would have a list on Campaign Monitor for each product/collection/customer group. These lists would then be synced after each order was placed. So instead of one monolithic list you would have a lot of more targeted lists.

    How does that sound?

    Cheers,
    Isaac
